Hastelloy C22 is an alloy formulated of nickel, chromium, molybdenum and tungsten with superior corrosion resistance. The alloy has impressive resistance to oxidizing crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and pitting. The alloy has preeminent resistance to 0xidizing aqueous media inclusive of chlorides and mixtures consisting of nitric acid or oxidizing acids.
